Drawstring Dress 1

Dress made from red and blue cotton. Two rectangles of red fabric, 1 meter in width and 1.5 meters in length, sewn along side and shoulder seams. Curved drawstring channels in light blue fabric, alternating wave pattern, are sewed equidistant down the skirt, starting under the bust. Tightening the drawstrings in the channels tightens the dress to fit the wearer’s body, and compacts the shape of the wave. The drawstrings at the bottom of the dress are looser, creating a flowing skirt and looser waves. Shoulder seams are tightened with drawstrings - the whole dress can be adjusted to fit a variety of body shapes and styles.
