The performance that turned into She’s just a girl!! was an unboxing of a daily routine of sorts. The intention was to unbox items that would be put through some transformation before they would end up on the paper. The way that they were stored in their box would not be the same way they were presented. I wanted to include items that were part of a daily or vanity routine, like putting on lipstick, painting my nails, putting on a necklace, and then interact with them in a way I don’t usually. It turned into a self portrait on the page.
